Halloween Colletion 2026
I think in the home of every illustrator, watercolorist, artisan, and stationery creator, there's a very similar calendar: Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Halloween, and Christmas. It’s always a race against time to fit one project right after another without letting things overlap or get delayed, after all, once the holiday passes, the moment is gone!
Here at the Atelier, I’m still building my seasonal routine. Back in July, for instance, while everyone was enjoying their summer break, I was already brainstorming the Christmas collection! But that’s a story for another day...
Remember what I said about projects rushing in one after another? Well, I wasn't actually planning to make anything for Halloween this year. However, Halloween has become a huge tradition here in Scandinavia! Every year, kids go door-to-door trick-or-treating, looking forward to spooky decorations and special sweets.
Despite the tight schedule, I managed to create this entire collection in just 4 days ( it was absolute madness!) Fresh out of the studio, this collection was inspired by my own childhood, back when Halloween only existed on TV through 90s movies. My main inspiration came from witches and how could I not think of classics like The Witches (1990) and Hocus Pocus (1993)? They were terrifying to us as kids, yet packed with magic, adventure, and wonder.
Black cats, cauldrons, magic brooms, and many other mystical items became the heart of this collection, which has become a true favorite of mine. I used classic colors like black, gray, and purple, complemented by warm brown and bright orange to round out this iconic palette.

You can purchase the digital printable files to print at home or, if you prefer physical items, you can find ready-made garlands and cake toppers on my shelf at Hylde. I've set up two different physical kits there: one featuring magic brooms and another with fun, colorful witch boots.
